about

Cungog first approached 8-Bit Recordings at a weekly breakcore night called "Sub-Level 3". An annoying, smirking little asshole who gave us this cassette and told us he made it in half an hour after watching us play the week before to show us he could "make that shit far better than you"

We listened to it and although it was barely close to what we were doing. Enjoyed it nonetheless. We eventually tracked him down 3 years later and he gave us permission to release it. Which was done in a way so as not to identify him with us (hence no catalogue number).

Over the next few years we tolerated his asinine behaviour, obscene covers and immature song titles in order to keep receiving his "music". Deadcode still hates him for what he did to his car and most of us lie to him about shows to prevent him turning up.

Cungog's debult album "Hardcore Daddy" originally released uncatalogued as a cassette giveaway at Sub-Level 3 At The Hyde Park Hotel in 2002. Limited to 20 copies. Then re-released as a CDR in 2005. Now available for the first time in 9 years as a pay-as-you-like download (8BITD04)

11 tracks of breakcore, industrial hardcore, speedcore, noise and extratone.
