Latenights - Bump (8BITD15)

effect manipulated noises, mulched kicks and reconstructed song segments are some of the musical and amusical elements that make up this the first re-release for Late Nights in 11 years.

Latenights was a glitch/IDM musician and abstract noise manipulator.
A close friend of 8-Bit Recordings and a frequent punter at shows and supporter of the label. He was a constant presence in the Perth underground electronic scene of the early naughties.

Although having never performed live. He did have a huge volume of releasable output which we tried to release a number of times.

LN disappeared from the Perth music scene a decade ago and no longer produces music. However. I have convinced him to allow us to re-release a few of his original mp3.com releases from 2001-2003.

This, the first to reappear reflects acts like Autechre, Gescom, Boards Of Canada and the mid to late 90s glitch scene that inspired him.

All compositions are produced live with both analogue and digital hardware and recorded as they happened. These compositions are then mastered and assembled into a collection for releasing.
