Chiba Lounge - Blanket Sky EP + bonus tracks (8BITD11)

Chiba Lounge was Perth musician Ryan Trio. At the time this was recorded. One half of the celebrated IDM/glitch experimental duo "Gate"

"Blanket Sky" originally released through mp3.com in 2002. Is an EP of recordings and ideas that sometimes did not fit in to the darker explorations of Gate.

Explaining this EP is not easy. Turntablism, glitch, film scores, crossfading, found sounds, ambient organs, sound dropouts, random compositions, krautrock noodling, techno melodies, ambient drones, industrial chiptuning, chewed modulations and musique concrete. All present an interesting 30 minutes of musical experiments approached from many different directions.

Chiba Lounge was due to release with 8-Bit Recordings in 2002 but due to reasons that won't be remembered. He wasn't.

12 years later and the wrong has been righted! Here is "Blanket Sky" as a pay-as-you-like download with added bonus tracks!
